I will share my experience with you about whom I used to think to be extra ordinary from my college days.
I had classmates who could hack colleges’ official website, some were involved in creating new websites for college festivals, tech events and some were assisting teachers in their researches, some had outstanding ideas about their final year project and were continuesly working to implement them. Actually these are the things which are not always taught in syllabus they learnt them out of their self interest giving them many career options. People call someone extraordinary when they see someone capable of making a difference and whom they see having a bright future. So if you want to be extraordinary I guess you should also be doing some things like these.
To sum this up I will say “ A extraordinary computer science engineer is one who is skilled in many things besides just the syllabus”
