How hard is computer science compared to say mechanical engineering?

  • 0

Well it’s like asking how good is a lawyer in treating my broken finger!

And to answer your question, you should consider a career in mechanical engineering. Why? Because I’ll be graduating as a mechanical engineer in 4 months.

Not satisfied by my justification? Read on.

Well by now you should have understood that your question is as irrelevant as you career choice strategy.

I’d say, you should go after computer science if you are ready to sit in front of a PC for really long hours and therby creating virtual wonders like programs and applications to run on machines. And while we are on machines, you shall go for mechanical engineering if you are one curious lad about how stuff works (of course in their mechanical aspect)- motion, velocity etc.

It is recommended that you should know about your career choice well in advance to avoid a mid session clashing of ideals and as a result ending up with an irrelevant degree.

So you better start thinking about what really suits you.

Make a career in what you love. Or be ready to work for someone else’s love!
