Which one is better: information technology or computer science and engineering

Thanks for A2A. If you ask me personally, I believe in learning basic principles as opposed to their superficial applicability. Hence I would recommend the one in computer science and engineering rather than in information technology. Of course these are general observations about these courses. You need to carefully look at the syllabus of the courses that you are considering before making the final plunge.
