In terms of placement, which engineering is best, computer engineering or computer science in India?

In India, Computer Engineering and Computer Science curriculum is almost same and students from both branches are recruited by all IT/Product companies for the same post. However in North America or Europe, CE and CS are treated differently and served the different purpose. Just check the curriculum of university or institute before joining.
