Counselling is really simple. Your are called according to your cmr but offered seats according to your category rank. Batch of 10–15 students go in each time. The other students sitting outside can know about the allotment of seats through a screen. Even the insiders can through the same media. Your documents are verified, then you go when your turn comes. You are asked about your preferences and thats it. Its done. You are in NIFT. 🙂
