Remember whatever be your rank never leave the chance to participate in counselling. This time in the first round itself a student of around 10,00,000 rank (around) got a seat in NIT! Fill all colleges if you don’t have any boundation on the location of college and branch (First discuss with your family and teachers and only you know better which college you can handle). You have some chances of getting IIIT or GFTIs in lower branches. Fill the colleges’ sequence in the order of their reputation and reputation of the branch. Do not fill any such college in which you do not want to go as it results in wastage of seats. Also your rank is not too low and there are home state quotas too. So be positive and pray for the best. BEST OF LICK!

My rank in the JEE Mains is 187,000 in the general category. Should I do a spot round of counselling? Which college should I choose for it?
