You didn’t mentioned that you are late at the counselling venue or your counselling date is on another day that you feel like its too late.
Btw am the perfect guy to answer these coz am myself attended the counselling and also my friends.
Firstly SC,ST,OBC along with the specified rank holders were called on the first day counselling.Here CSE got filled.But,theres new branches available in KIIT.I remember one name(Computer Science and system and system engineering).My two friends,one SC category got 1500rank and one having 13000 general rank,both got Computer Sc. and system engineering.
My second friend counselling was on second day(12may).
My rank was 28233,held on 13 may.I got Electronics and control System Engineering.
And some people studying in KIIT,saying you will not get the branch of your choice.This is a false statement. In counselling,if you don’t get your desired branch,then sliding process will help you out. If sliding process don’t,then i guarantee you that in 2nd year you can upgrade your branch but you have to study smart and get a cgpa of 8+.
