So here’s how the scene is:
Without Maths in 10+2
B.Comm – Yes you can
B.Comm (Hons.) – No you cannot
Even for simple B.Comm, it’ll be slightly difficult. However, as far as eligibility is concerned, most colleges will allow you do a Bachelor of Commerce course whether or not you had Maths in 10+2.
Why will it be difficult?
Because a B.Comm course curriculum teaches you about accounting, auditing, book-keeping, taxation, banking, basics of insurance, finance, and economics, etc., all of which have their roots in Maths.
If you haven’t studied Maths in high-school, then chances are that you’ve forgotten most of its fundamentals and will have to put in a little more effort into getting your grip back on the subject as compared to your peers who didn’t drop maths.
A degree in B.Comm (Programme and Hons.) provides you with a solid foundation in various streams of commerce and acts as a gateway to various professional and higher education opportunities.
