I also gave Comedk this year but for engineering. Let me tell you whether its engineering or medical, all of us are facing this ridiculous issue of counselling delay right now.
You may ask, what’s delaying Comedk to publish their counselling dates? Is it their fault?
Well firstly, it’s not their fault. I called their head office and they said, they themselves are under pressure since they have to finish their counselling by 31st of July. Why? According to AICTE(Not sure if its different for Medical), all academic courses should begin by 1st of August.
Now whats delaying them? It’s the fees. Private colleges want a 15% hike in their fee structure, but the government will allow only 8% since a deal was signed between both of them last year
