Finding the right career is not about finding a job that is perfect, but finding a job that is perfect for you. Most people pick a profession/career path that they think will provide them with a high salary or a great lifestyle, and because of this many land up in jobs that they actually hate.

If you love what you do, no matter what job/field it is, you’ll end up succeeding on some level.

You can start by thinking about what has always interested you since you were a kid. Now, this may seem hard, so don’t pressure yourself to come up with exact answers on the spot. The answers can be abstract as well, such as ‘I’m someone who loves helping others’, or ‘I have always been very good with money’. These can become starting points for further research I would suggest that you follow these steps to start heading in the right direction:

List your previous qualifications/experiences/jobs on a piece of paper.

Once you’ve made the list, analyze it to find out what your main skillsets are, what kind of experiences you’ve enjoyed the most, and what domain/field do you wish to enter. This will give you more clarity in terms of your interests, career options, and help you find more meaningful work.
