How good is physical science with computer science course from du?

Hey,

This course opens up many opportunities for you to pursue after graduation. If you want to pursue this course, make a roadmap for your life after grad even before beginning. That will help you from getting lost. Knowing what to expect from the course can also help you in doing so. In this case, I can help you.

Firstly, the course is interesting but not cohesive. It is a university designed and not one department of Bsc physical sciences designing the syllabus. There are three departments, mathematics, physics, and computer science setting their own paper. This is why you do not feel like you are studying it as one unit. There are many colleges in India, teaching this course but with very well planned syllabus. In this case, however, you will be required to be very focused with what you want with a vast pool of options to choose from. At one point where you can be spoilt for choices, at another you can be completely lost and end up not landing anywhere. For eg. If you wanna pursue MSc. in a specific subject after your graduation, invest your time on that subject, if you want to pursue placements, work on developing some relevant skills and so on. There is a lot of extra that you will need to study, therefore this course is not consistent in itself. But then again, there are both pros and cons involved. A lot depends on what you are looking for.
