The course is highly inter-disciplinary. You will have to study Maths, Physics , Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics as the three main subjects during the course and Biology throughout the second year ,and a subject other than your third main subject during the final year.
6 Semesters X 3 (Maths + Physics + Chemistry/ CS/ Electronics) = 18 Courses.
1 Course on Computer Fundamentals and 1 on Technical Writing(English) during 1st year for all Physical Science Students.
2 Courses on Biology during 2nd year.
2 Courses on Chemistry/ CS/ Electronics in Final Year. This is elective but, you can only choose except your 3rd main subject.
CS students can choose Electronics/Chemistry but, not CS.
1 Course on Environmental Studies, as well.
Course requires some efforts to pass and only 30% of the students of my batch got the degree within 3 years. However, you will have a vast sea of opportunities after the degree for further studies.
At DBC, you can choose among CS/Chemistry as the third main subject. And, in the final year you will have to choose electronics only.
PS: this ques. was asked in 2014 but, it may help people in the coming years as well.
