Placements in NITs like Trichy, Warangal and Suratkal are quite good.
I being a pass out from NIT-W can say almost all the companies come for campus recruitment but package is generally less than what they offer in IITs. Google and Facebook also came for recruitment when I was sitting for placements. Google was open only for M-Techs and Facebook was open for btechs also. All big companies come for recruitment so that’s not as issue really. All depends on candidate after that if he/she can pull it off.
Also, taking CSE in NITs is definitely a better decision than taking some lower branch like mining in some IITs.
