How did you prepare for your placements?

  • 0

First, let me list down some of the study materials I used for preparation.

  • Geeks for Geeks – This is one of the best materials available online. For clarity of any concept in computer science, coding questions asked in companies before, Interview questions and some quants. It has it all.
  • R S Agarwal Quantitative Aptitude & R S Agarwal Reasoning – I found it really effective when it came to Quants preparation.
  • Test Your C Skills by Yashwant Kanetkar – I found a lot of MCQs coming from this during the first round.
  • Data Structures & Coding Interview Questions by Narasimha Karumanchi – If you go through these 2 books, your life during placements will become sorted.

Some Bonus Tips to help you…

  • Be aware well in advance, which all companies visit your campus. It helps you target and prepare for your dream companies since every company has its own placement process.
  • Keep your CV ready well in advance both in pdf and printed format. It helps you avoid the last-minute panic.
  • The HR or non-technical round is equally important. Don’t take it lightly.
  • Know your resume well. Don’t write things which you are not sure about.

All the best for your placements!
