CA is one of the most unpredictable stream to follow. No one knows if you’ll clear till you type in you credentials to get your result or if you’ll get into a great firm/company after getting the alphabets CA before your name.
Rank is what says that you have knowledge about the rest, but your package is not only defined by your knowledge but also your attitude towards CA and performance/personality towards your colleagues.
Rankers do have a higher chance to get a package of +7lakhs (INR), while it can also touch +12lakhs if you get into a really good company like ITC which is willing to pay you so for rank and personality. CA can never find an exact amount of salary he’ll get, but generally it ranges from 4–6lakhs for passouts and 6–8lakhs for rankers.
