Well, even after clearing CA final nothing will be served to you in a silver plate. Unlike engineers and MBA’s whose majority of placement takes place through campus, many of us get placed by going privately.
To begin with, list down all the areas open to a Chartered Accountant. Understand your area of interest and accordingly update the CV.
You can process your CV through following methods:
- Naukari.com: choose your preferences and the consultant shall call you if they find suitable profile for you. You yourself can go through firm profiles and recent vacancies.
- Linkedin: Most preffered. I recommend you to update your LinkedIn profile. Many brilliant opportunities can be catered through it.
- Social Media groups: These groups are generally meant to share any vacancies anyone of us come accross. We put the details in the group and whosoever is interested can himself approach the firm for interview and share CV through Email.
- Personal references: I am not sure of how well this works. But often profiles are shared by our known people in their respective firm through HR
