Hi,
I am astound to see the question raised by you. Well let me answer this very precisely.
- Firstly, Thapar is very good for CSE the placements are far above you can think of but comparing it to IIT’S is just not justified. IIT’s are the best institutes of India and Thapar compares nowhere to IIT’s.
- Secondly, talking about NIT ; Thapar is better than most of the NIT’s except some of them ( kindly go for the NIRF rankings ). Thapar will also give you much more exposure than most of the NIT’s.
Now, it’s up to you what you choose. I myself dropped for IIT’s but couldn’t afford to get good rankings in JEE ADVANCE. If you are confident enough and a hardworking lad then IIT’s are the best place to be in.
P.S : Remember hardwork and patience can give you all you want.
