Let me start first by congratulating your son, for he has taken a positive step in what may only be termed as career progression.
Now let’s talk about the question. What exactly do you mean by “worth it”? Do you mean is it worth spending four years of his life in a relatively new organization, whereas he could done so in already established ones? Or do you mean is SNU even a place to be considered worthy of being compared to these educational giants?
Well, the answer to both the questions is a resounding yes!
I don’t have the statistics to the Government college you are considering or even to VIT, but I am sure students at both places can affirm to the crowd they study with, both quality and quantity. SNU, on the other hand has a very modern and strict filtration policy, which if examined even from a distance will speak volume about its effectiveness.
