Should I join IT in KIIT? Is IT in KIIT good in terms of placement and studying?

Yes you should join IT in KIIT.

As per academics, most of the subjects are same in CS and IT. Even CS and IT share same department, which is one of the best department of KIIT.

Now coming to placements. No one can assure you your placement. It’s completely in your hand and in your luck.

As per placement track record,

CS-90%(As per placement record 2015&2016)

IT-80%(As per placement record 2015&2016)

And CS & IT students will be eligible for mostly all companies (except few branch specific core companies).

I will like share you something from my own observations. Companies like Deloitte,Mu Sigma,HP etc prefers CS students over IT(I don’t know the reason behind that).
