Yes, ofcourse. I will give you an example first of all. I don’t personally know the girl, but I have heard about her. There was one girl who did mechanical engineering as bachelors (maybe because her brother advised her…!!!) but later she decided to go for masters in CS. She went and wrote GATE, got a single digit rank (AIR<10… wow…!!! thats pretty hard work, that too for a mechanical engineer) and she ended up in IISc Bangalore.
If you check the GATE application, you can see that people from any stream can give the GATE paper for CS. For admission in M. Tech you need to get a good rank in GATE. Try, work hard and you can succeed.
