Cgpa is not a big factor for campus placements . There are only few companies which ask for Cgpa.
The standard criteria is 60%/7 cgpa(out of 10).
So its basicallly used for screening only. After that it doesn’t matter at all. And getting cgpa 7 is not that tough at all.
I know in Indian colleges, subjects are taught using old technologies while in real world we hav now much more advanced technologies, but you have to learn them as well as you cannot blame College for that.
After the screening in placement, only place where questions related to why your Cgpa is less will be asked is in HR ROUND.
So be prepared with some answers like you were not interested in that subject or you devoted time to learning new things whatever you want tp say, but be prepared, because they ask sometimes.
