Off campus placement means you getting placed not in interviews conducted in your college campus but outside.suppose you finished doing engg and you didn’t get a job or good job for that case. Then you can shift to places like bengaluru, hyderabad, chennai, pune, gurgaon in search of job.

But bengaluru is the best place to get a job especially if you are looking for a job in IT field.

You asked about the procedure so here it goes .

  • Write Elitmus, amcat.based on these scores you will get shortlisted and will be called for technical rounds by company.
  • Follow pages on fb called Bjs(bangaloee job seekers) and mra job seekers.believe me they are the saviour .They post about daily walkings as well as off campus organised by different Company in their offices or in some college .You simply need to register and you will get interview call .
  • There are some consultancies like expersis IT and magna infotech who can arrange interview for you.but most of these cases you will be working on payroll.
    • Join Java classes like jspider or qspider, abc etc. These institute will give you training in core and advanced java and at the end of training or during the training they will call companies like TechMahindra, capgemini,Deolite and many more .where you cam get placed.basically course duration will be of 3 to 6 months and course fee will range from 7k to 18 k.mind you these institutes are in bangalore.
    • These were few ways from where you will get interview call but and that i will say in Caps its just one part of your whole process of getting placed
