- Its NOT easy. Many people have a misunderstanding that during a drop year they can easily complete their studies as you no longer have college, exams etc. WRONG. I am a repeater. Worked my ass off to get through. Be serious from the beginning and maintain that momentum.
- Stick to the basics. You might think that since you’ve taken a year down to prepare, you must know so much more (or else, whats the point of ‘wasting’ a year, right?) Well…first, get your basics cleared, then go for the high level stuff. Study the NCERT very properly, especially bio.
- Don’t neglect the easy stuff. One question from surface chemistry and polymers is assured. Many people neglect chapters like these and end up loosing marks on some very easy questions.
- Solve as many previous year’s questions as possible! And many topic and chapter wise tests too. There is no use of studying if you don’t practice solving.
