I’ve to say NCERT Books are good or we can say important for students as CBSE follow and recommend NCERT Books only. Books are important for studying, students cannot depend on videos only.
NCERT Books are important:

- They explain the concept in brief.
- CBSE ask questions from the NCERT Books.
- Important points are given at the end of each chapter.
- NCERT Solutions provided by them are very important for the examination.
- NCERT Books also help students for the competitive examination.
