for preparation for physics you have to study first your textbook and then you go for the solve problem from reference book .in board exam most of question came from the textbook questions.therefor you have to solve first textbook question.
and for the one mark mcq you have to read textbook carefully.
for two mark mcq you have to should know short lows and formula .
for long question you should select same theory which is asked in previous year question paper .and then those theory you have to first read and understand about it then try to write in blank paper without looking up.and then find where is your mistake.
and other thing is for scoring good mark you have to do sum and more practice .you have to also draw figure properly .
