From my own experience I would suggest you to read NCERT Books if you are preparing for the CBSE 12th Board. They are the best books to be followed. You can understand the theory part easily and will also face good exercise problems. They will be helpful in mastering the concepts. And I am sure that mastering the concepts would also help you in the competitive exams like JEE Mains and Advanced.
And for further help, books like Concepts of physics would be helpful, also I would ask you to take help of Physics for You magazines (mtg). I am sure they’ll be helpful to you.
