Why not? But the real question you need to ask yourself is that, are you really passionate about that field, if you really are then it doesn’t matter from where you do it. At the end of the day all colleges provide you only with a certificate, it is up to you, how you fare in the field in real life.
But i cannot deny the fact that getting that degree from a reputed and well facilitated college definitely adds advantage for your performance.
And yes, MSRIT which is now been renamed as RIT is definitely a well reputed, well facilitated and very good college to be getting a degree from
