I notice, you haven’t mentioned the stream or your mode of admission, whether you came through CET, COMEDK or management. However, I shall try to answer your questions keeping in mind all the scenarios.
I am a computer science student there who got admission through KCET and I just finished my 4th sem exams. I had to pay about Rs. 50000 as KCET fees and Rs. 21000 as college fees, which came to Rs.71000 for my first year and Rs. 63000 for my second year. This amount, as you may have guessed, keeps decreasing.
If you came through COMEDK, you would have to pay around Rs. 1.85 lakhs, which also decreases year on year.
Now, for the hostel fees, there are various different hostels available. If you opt for 3 in a room, without food, you would pay Rs. 40000 per year. I think there is an initial deposit required, which will be returned to you after graduation, the amount of which, I am not entirely sure.
