Right after first year, I found two wonderful women who continued to be my roommates for the rest of my time at VIT. Coming back to them at the end of the day, felt like coming back home.
Regardless of which engineering college you choose to go to, you will find interesting people with different priorities. You’ll sync with some and not with others. And that’s okay! You’ll also find people who would inspire you to become a better version of yourself. Basically, you shouldn’t worry about finding “bad people”. I’d rather suggest you to be open about getting to know different people and be excited about finding the best of friends. Once you find your niche, you’ll have a pretty good time.
Apart from that, you should know that the VIT Ladies Hostel has a lot of rules and regulations, which makes it extremely safe & disciplined (on the upside) but a bit annoying (on the downside).
