I’ll try and answer from EE perspective. The general trend amongst students is to find a job and settle down. Very few students opt for higher studies abroad. This year (2016 batch), I am the only one from the department applying for an MS abroad (no kidding ). Last year, only two people went to the US as far as I know. We can safely conclude, as far as the EE department in RVCE is concerned, students seldom choose the MS option. As far as the reputation of our college in universities abroad, its good from what I’ve seen from my seniors results . Though I must say there is no special consideration for RV students compared to other good colleges like PES or BMS. The way you build your profile is what matters the most. You can get back to me with other queries.

Is the RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bangalore considered a good college for considering applications for an MS in CS and EE from top US grad schools?
