It was 15th Oct. When JEE Advanced results came out. Next things people knew counselling choice filling window will be opened from 16th Oct. So I called a senior of IIT Kgp(actually he lives near my home) and asked him to help me in making preference list. I was also assigned a PW mentor he was a 2nd-year student at IIT Guwahati. We were allowed to edit the list till 24th Oct after going through 2 Mock seat allocation rounds. These mock rounds give a prediction of what is going to happen in actual rounds.
Soon Round 1 results came and i got IIT Kgp. Now after the R1 allocation students who are allotted a seat are required to upload certain documents, these documents are then verfied by JoSAA also students have 3 choices they can float, freeze or slide the allotted seat.
