Short Answer : Its good
Long Answer : It depends
The core placements are like any other Tier 1 Engineering Institute in India. You have companies like Shell, Unilever, Reliance and some manufacturing giants( minus schlumberger and PSUs) coming in.
However , the advantage that BITS gives you is through inter-disciplinary placements. Its easier to get into a Consulting/Finance role being in BITS than in a comparable rank IIT / NIT. You will have the chance to compliment your major with a minor degree in Finance/Data Science which becomes very useful while finding a job after college.
The practice school system will also give you enough scope to change your field which is again very unique to BITS. So, If you are not sure of getting a good (Read in-demand) department like CSE/ECE in a similar ranked school and if you are unsure of your field of interest, then BITS is a no-brainer
