Why is mechanical engineering so good at RVCE? I’m thinking since I left MSRIT ISE and took RV mechanical. Is this a good decision?

You’d end up with a higher package at the end with MSRIT ISE compared to RVCE mechanical.

The scope and job availability for ISE is way higher than mechanical.

The only advantage I see would be a slightly better peer group in RVCE.

So yeah, unless you’re really into mechanical engineering/ plan to work hard enough to change branch in the second year, I’d say it was a bad decision.
