Hey, I think i can answer this question since i was one of the lateral entry students in RV.
You will be treated just like any other student there, but it depends on the efforts you make. PU students will know each other before you join and will already be good friends, so it’s up to you to make an effort to get to know them and then there’s no differenciation at all. Most of them didn’t even know that i was a lateral entry student by final year.
You will also get extra support from faculty since most of us had gap with mathematics and have to study 4 maths subject in a single year, Feel free to approach them.
