Though one says, “Dono Campus same hai bhai/bhen kise me bhi lele” but the thing is both the campus is very much different from each other
- The Crowd : Both campus have it’s own crowd. If I talk about North Campus, it’s crowd is mostly heterogeneous, i.e. you can find multiple peoples with different different backgrounds in the same crowd, whereas in the crowd of South Campus homogeneity is very much visible as South Campus is mostly occupied with the students from places like Hauz khas, GK etc. and you better know the people from these places. Though I shouldn’t say that but that’s true. And also it’s very rare that you find these two crowdsmixing together even in fests.
- Composition : So the planning of North Campus is very much fabulous. The very much sight gives you good vibes as it’s actually a “Campus”. You can easily find chill out spots in every corner. There are lots of college canteens to choose from. Also there is no problem in attending fests during fest season as all colleges are one after the other. Then there is Kamla Nagar at the backside of the campus. Whereas South Campus is very much disintegrated and thus you find distance between colleges. Though it too have a Sarojini Market but as I talked about the background of the students it’s very rare to go there with your whole group.
- Politics : So if you are the one who have a keen interest in that then North Campus is gonna be the best for you. As North Campus is a stage of all poltical activities for the whole DU. If you want to witness the real color of election it’s North Campus. You never find that much of heightened election fever.
But at last the there is no difference in quality of education as the college never determines your future it totally depends on your interest
