Since I am studying in UPES you might feel that my answer is biased but speaking from my experience and the people I’ve met I find UPES better. Or is it that the branch I wanted, ADE is better in UPES than any other University. But on talking to rest of my friends after reading your question I concluded that UPES is more recommended than SRM. I have friends from Kota, Rajasthan (you might be knowing what Kota is). They also believe that UPES is better than SRM or the rest of the private colleges down south also the teachers or professors in Kota recommended them to join UPES.
