Both are very different colleges, UPES being unique. It focus on core education and making smart engineers.
UPES have core branches which all though are similar to conventional branches like EC, CS, Civil etc. but offer very different area of study. You will be focusing on technology more. Branches like Computer Science with specialization in Cloud Computing explains it. You will not be confused during your job which technology to choose and start working without trainings as you are already well verse.
On the other hand DIT will offer you conventional branches and after 4 years will put you in same league of other students. There is no difference in Curriculum and you will be treated same as other students passing out from other colleges.
UPES will see many reputed companies visiting campus for placements. They offer nice packages as well. Labs, Infrastructure, Faculty and Research are rich compared to DIT.
