Which college is better for a CSE: CGC, LPU, or Chitkara?

Being an LPU Alumni, I can only comment about LPU, I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University. I has a wonderful experience at LPU and was one of those who has received multiple placement packages. I choose HCL as my final decision, and today it’s been 4 years I am working with HCL and have received many promotions and hike as well.

Definition of better varies from person to person and also on the factors you are counting upon. I can share my experience so that it can help you choosing a better option.

Before delving into the debate over which college beats the other, it is important to define the parameters which will be used to choose the best amongst the given set. These parameters are listed below :

1. Placements : For any college in India, placements are a fundamental factor to consider. Living in a service-intensive nation, there has never been more demand for technically adept graduates. Existing in times of such high demand, colleges are expected to have well-connected placement cells at their respective campuses. LPU has conferred with National Employability Award in 2020 . LPU is among the top 10% engineering campuses in the country that lead on the basis of their 2020 batch students’ scores on India’s Largest Employability Test – AMCAT.
2. Infrastructure : A good college provides a plethora of facilities to its students such as labs, sports amenities, gym, library, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Besides these facilities, other factors like hostel accommodation and proximity of hostel and main campus will also be taken into account. LPU has all the required facilities within the campus.
3. Student to Faculty Ratio: Almost all of the colleges being compared here have a huge number of people on the campus. Student to faculty ratio can be a defining factor while choosing amongst these colleges. At LPU Student to faculty ratio is 30 : 1.
4. Accreditations : Every year, nearly 24,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges’ students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent.
