If you really want to do MTech than I will give you preference Order of IITs (New) and NITs.
Firstly IITs…. But only for VLSI
Hyderabad >> Gandhinagar > Indore >>> BAAKI sab bhul ke bhi mat Lena even VLSI
For NITs… VLSI
Trichy > Warangal > Surathkal > Allahabad > Calicut > Rourkela bass inke neeche mat Jaana… Otherwise you will ruin Your life.
Next Old NITs Vs New IITs… Only colleges which I have mentioned.
If you want tag than join IIT as it has new campus+ brand value+ Better living conditions compared to NITs but lesser opportunities in terms of Placement.
But if you are looking for career growth than Join NITs
As these NITs have strong alumni base as they are old enough. Plus you will get chance to do Internship in good companies like Intel, Qualcomm etc… As these NITs allow internship program except Trichy. Also so many companies visits these old NITs for placement which don’t even visits New IITs…
