The hostels at chitkara university are no doubt very nice and well sanitised. The university provides separate hostels for boys and girls. There are different hostels and mess facilities available. The average fee for hostel at chitkara is around 51k including mess facility. The hostels have coolers and are in a sharing of 4 students per room. The rooms are very spacious and each bed has its own desk and chair. The wardens of the hostel are like family and supports and takes care of the students. There are caretakers for each floor who make sure everything is good in the hood. There are AC as well as Cooler rooms available. Mess facility is also decent. Students have to understand that they cannot get homemade food taste anywhere else but the mess food is pretty good and decent compared to other university hostels.living in pg is not a good reason as chitkara is in the middle of nowhere and pg’s are not safe for travelling as the university is in the middle of a highway and an accident prone area.
