If you are strong in coding , You can sit in off campus placements of some core IT companies for which it is not important from which branch you are from(they just check your coding skills) . In this case you can have minimum salary of 7 lakhs per annum (which can increase to a great extent after you join the company) .
So make your coding skills excellent in the four years of your college .
Otherwise , you can expect a salary of about 4 to 5 lakhs per annum (Yes this is starting salary which will increase after you join a company and have good performance ) .
