From the very beginning, I think Chandigarh University has been a pioneer in providing quality education in the field of engineering. The engineering department of the university, University Institute of Engineering has been ranked 61st by NIRF among top engineering institutions of India. Also, it has been ranked as 2nd among Private Engineering Colleges in the north zone by The Week 2020 and 41st in Top Private Engineering colleges of India by India today. The department has been given 16th rank among Top 100 Engineering Colleges across India by Outlook. Other than this, CU is the only private university in Punjab to offer NBA accredited engineering programs.
