Usually the TECH students get the highest package as compared to other branches, but it’s not necessary. In 2016 one from our campus got a highest package of 15 lakhs that to from B.F.TECH. (for design it was 7.2 lakhs from AD) But for that she had to maintain her academics ( she was also a part of student exchange program). So basically your chances of higher placement increases if you go for student exchange program and have a good academics.
When it comes to the lowest package, there are many students who does not accept the offer as sometime package that is offers is quite low. At sometimes it is even 2lakhs per annum. (Considering all branches) ( There is no point of accepting this package because a person spend more than that in his nift life per year) so they opt for masters or either go for off campus placement.
And now about the average package.the average package revolves around 3.6 to 4.2 per annum for B.F.TECH and 3 to 4 for DESIGN branches. There are exceptions if you are extraordinary.
