I hate it when these IIT aspirants today choose their branch of study based on some pre-written priority order of branches and colleges and go for the one which gives them the best so called “package”. To all those who have no idea about their future and what to study, it is my request to please use your brain rather than these handed-down rules to choose your field of study.
About the question, none of the chemical engineering batches at IITP have graduated yet, so you’d have to wait till 2020 to get an answer to your query. Rather than searching for “packages”, you should look up areas of study and job profiles of chemical engineering graduates and see if these catch your fancy.
