EEE/ECE/E&I all the guys in all the 3 campus try to get one of VLSI companies which are Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Nvidia, STMicroelectronics, ARM, Intel, etc. The highest package was by TI, Qualcomm, Nvidia all 16lpa whereas STM, Intel and ARM gave around 7–8 lpa in 2017 placements. Only few companies are there which is not enough for all.
You can get there either through Pre Placement Offer(PPO)/College Placement/by applying to company on yourself(off campus placements).
You will get few questions like how this many companies accomodate all the approx 90 students in each batch in each campus? how is there 100% placement then? how the average package is 10–11lpa?
The answer to all is that people who complete their degree in Electrical/Electronics rarely go for their core companies(10/90 in the whole batch). Most of the students prepare for IT placements bcz there you have a higher chance of getting placed and also they offer a higher career growth later on. (By career growth I mean Paisa jaldi badhta hai unka)
