Here are quite a few things –
1 In LPU 75% attendance is mandatory now you will be thinking so what most of the colleges have this but then also do most of the students attend class regularly ,a big no. LPU works on complete digitalization means our attendance is attached within 10 mins of class getting started and every lecture has its own attendance and every teacher checks the name and the student if he or she is there or not.
So we have to attend class regulary ,if we will not do so then we will get detained and will not be able to give exams means a whole semester back and don’t think I am joking its true.
2.People think as LPU is in Punjab so lots of drug would be there but a big no , we have 3500 cameras more than any place in India.Each and every single route,building,checkpoint inside the college have security guards.
3.These security guards can check you anytime so nothing like that.
4.We have regular exams and continuos assessment means online quiz ,tests which are inturn converted into small small portion of marks.
People living outside think that we are studying in a luxurious college but the reality is that it is the most strict college i have heard of.Believe me most of students will drop out if they have to attend classes like we do .9–5, 10–5 ,5 days a week ,and very less holidays.
