I agree with the fact the some of the colleges under DU are not good because of staff, crowd, societies and infra.
First of all DU is not a proper university like BHU, TEZPUR UNIV, AMU. DU is a merely a collection of colleges as far as UG courses are concerned. A full fledged university always have departments whereas DU has colleges.
No one can ignore the fact that alumni of some of the north campus and south campus colleges are well known. But, at the same time you must keep in mind that they were in college a long ago, when cut off % was around 50%-60%. Things are different now.
Just keep in mind that you are an important asset of the your college, and its only you who will draft its future.
