Let me tell you my story…..
I was shortlisted for the following companies on day 1 of campus placements :-
1. Microsoft
2. Worldquant
3. Goldman Sachs
4. BlackStone
5. Tower Research
6. Twitter
7. Linkedin
8. Jump Trading
9. Samsung Korea
10. Rocket Fuel
Among them, the first five were scheduled from 8AM to 4PM (morning slot or slot -1 as we call it here) and the later 5 were in evening slot (6PM to 2AM in morning or slot – 2).
As with everyone, day -1 interviews mean nervousness, excitement and tension, all three at the same time. I was assigned a schedule by the Placement cell and was hoping that things would actually follow the same but that was the first mistake I made.
