YES it is, but only if you live near middle east India.

Patna has got a large number of coaching classes and is known to give toppers in JEE Advanced, Guwahati Region consistently over years.

In Patna, you will find a lot of student-centered areas, where most of the coaching institutes are situated (Boring Canal Road, Dak Bungalow Road.)

Some of the prominent coaching classes in Patna are FIITJEE Patna, Vidyamandir Classes Patna, Mentors Eduserv, Vision Classes, Aakash.

I have experienced studying in both VMC (Vidyamandir Classes) Patna and Vibrant Academy, Kota. I can safely say that Patna is the best coaching hub in mid east India.

One thing you must keep in mind is the coaching classes except FIITJEE and VMC are just to earn money here. They provide you cheap class material and poor teachers. Patna is renowned for IIT only because of these two coachings.
