All the NOs you are seeing are from people studying in Main Manipal. The campus is really great. Classrooms are good. Faculty is a mix of excellent and average. Hostels are state of the art. Overall its not as good as Main manipal campus but is definitely better than any other university. If you getting an option of MIT prefer it, otherwise chose MUJ as an option.
Am a student of MUJ and pretty much satisfied with the campus.
Edit on 16.11.15: This answer was written when we were educated by likes of teachers like Manu Augustine and some other decently experienced faculty. Now I am in my 4th yr. and I swear to god I have never seen teachers this dumb and inexperienced in my life. No proper knowledge of subject and no proper communication skills in English.
Don’t get me started about training and placement. Its nearly end of 7th sem and there hasn’t been even a single visit by a core mechanical company. Other colleges which are ranked below us have had their students placed. T&P cell was not even capable of inviting mass recruiting companies, TCS being an exception.
Basically if you want to enjoy college life and excellent facilites and have a family business or have a startup and dont care much about quality of education or placements. Join MUJ!
